It’s Her Party

From the NY Post:

There she goes again. It was another two-hanky day on the campaign trail yesterday, as Hillary Rodham Clinton teared up at an event targeting female voters on the eve of the Super Tuesday elections.
After she got a warm introduction from an old friend, Clinton’s eyes welled up and glistened under TV camera lights. She paused and gathered her composure.

She didn’t choke up - as she did at a similar event on the eve of the New Hampshire primary, a moment that Clinton now says may have helped her snag a critical victory last month by making her appear human and vulnerable.
But there were enough similarities between the two teary instances that skeptics wondered whether the whole thing was contrived.
“Whenever [Barack] Obama picks up steam, she seems to open up the waterworks,” said one Democratic operative…

Oh give her a break. The Democratic Party has been the party of the Clintons for the past 15 years, so

It’s her party and she can cry if she wants to,
Cry if she wants to,
Cry if she wants to.
You would cry too
If Bill happened to you.
Bum-bum-bum-bum-bum!

Oprah: A Sister, or a Sistah?

Oprah Winfrey has been dubbed a “traitor” by  some of her female fans for supporting Barack Obama instead of Hillary Clinton…In the original post, a reader called austaz68 said…  “For the first time in history we actually have a shot at putting a woman in the White House and Oprah backs the black MAN. She’s choosing her race  over her gender.”

White  women thought Oprah was their sister, but they found out she’s a sistah first.

Oprah recently attended a celebrity-studded Obama rally that included pop music legend Stevie Wonder.

OK, why is even Stevie Wonder supporting Obama? I mean, if anyone should be color-blind, it’s Stevie Wonder.

American Nurses Association Endorses Hillary

The Clinton campaign [has] announced the endorsement of the American Nurses  Association (ANA). The ANA represents the interests of the nation’s 2.9  million registered nurses.

Except for registered nurse Juanita Broaddrick.

More Clinton Yarns and Yawns on the Campaign Trail

On a campaign stop for his wife recently, Bill Clinton chuckled at the name of one venue in Boone, Iowa, a restaurant called the Gigglin’ Goat. He “told the crowd that when he was six years old he was nearly killed by a ram, and still has the scars on his head. ‘It gave me a very high pain threshold,’ he said. ‘It was probably the best preparation I ever had for becoming president.’”

Most likely he was trying to have sex with the goat. And that’s what prepared him for the presidency. One gets the feeling that even if this guy were speaking to a roomful of mentally handicapped individuals, he would say, “You know, I was born retarded too. That’s what gave me the preparation to become president.”

Hillary’s First Great Idea

Clinton Urges Voters to Caucus on Wrong Day
The mail-in candidate cards being passed out at a Hillary Clinton rally in Iowa recently encouraged voters to caucus on Jan. 14, eleven days too late for the January 3rd Iowa caucus.

But what’s so wrong with that? Why is everyone jumping all over her? It’s her first constructive idea. It finally gives me something I can agree with her on. Remember, Iowa voters: January 14th!

I do, however, offer my condolences to the family of whoever made the mistake.

Clinton in Clinton

CLINTON, Iowa (AP) --

On New Year's Day, when many sports fans plant themselves on the couch to watch a day of college football games, the former president was stumping through the snows of Iowa for his wife....As Bill Clinton put it, "This morning, as I was walking out to come here, Hillary looked at me and said, 'Finally, after all these years I know you do love me...you're missing six football games today.'"

Indeed, it was the first time Clinton had been in another Clinton since making Chelsea Clinton.

Hillary Clinton Calls for Investigation Into Gang-Rape Allegations

Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton, D-N.Y., is calling for a formal government investigation into allegations that a young female American contractor was gang-raped in Iraq and then held incommunicado in a large shipping container by her American employer, KBR, then a subsidiary of Halliburton.

"These claims must be taken seriously and the U.S. government must act immediately to investigate Ms. Jones' claims," Sen. Clinton wrote in a letter...to Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, Secretary of Defense Robert Gates and Attorney General Michael Mukasey.

She added, "Rape, particularly when it doesn't involve my husband, is a heinous and inexcusable act."

Another old Conservative Fool Gives in to Clintophilia/Clintophalia

We’re now up to six conservative altercockers falling for Clinton’s charms.
1. Bob Dole
2. Bush Sr.
3. Bush Jr.
4. Rupert Murdoch
5. Chris Ruddy
6. Richard Mellon Scaife:

Bill Clinton turns enemy into a friend

Richard Mellon Scaife, the reclusive right-wing billionaire who financed a “family values” crusade that almost bought down President Bill Clinton, has offered surprising praise for the politician he once despised — and admitted they both share an interest in philandering.

Mr Scaife backed the so-called Arkansas Project that produced a series of stories in the American Spectator magazine into Mr Clinton’s sex life, including the notorious “Troopergate” piece that spurred Paula Jones’ sexual harrassment suit against the president for allegedly exposing himself to her in a hotel room.

Mr Scaife’s Pittsburgh Tribune-Review newspaper also relentlessly pursued conspiracy theories surrounding the suicide of White House aide Vince Foster, which he once called “Rosetta Stone of the Clinton Administration.” Yet in his first interview since President Clinton left office, Mr Scaife told yesterday’s edition of Vanity Fair magazine that he had recently had lunch with Mr Clinton. He declared: “I’ve never met such a charismatic man in my whole life.” Now in the midst of a messy divorce from his second wife, Mr Scaife noted that both he and the former president had both strayed in their marriages. Philandering, he said, “is something that Bill Clinton and I have in common.” “I don’t want people throwing rocks at me in the street. But I believe in open marriage,” he explained.

The two hour and fifteen-minute private lunch at the former president’s New York office last summer ended with Mr Clinton giving Mr Scaife an autographed copy of his autobiography, “My Life.” When the billionaire returned home to Pittsburgh, he wrote a $100,000 cheque for the former president’s charity, the Clinton Global Initiative.

It used to be that as people got older, they became more conservative. But then Viagra came along and screwed the whole thing up. Notice that as soon as Dole started taking Viagra, he became a Clinton lackey? And here with Scaife we have a related situation: as soon as a rich conservative guy is found out as being unfaithful to a spouse, he calls up Bill Clinton to bond. And it ends up costing him $100,000. That’s some expensive sex! It’s like paying guilt money: You cheated on your wife? You have to give Bill Clinton money.

Meanwhile, Scaife’s comparing his infidelity to Bill Clinton’s uncontrollable and often violent sex addiction — saying simply that they’ve both “strayed” in their marriages — is like a parent who has spanked her kid comparing herself to Susan Smith.
